The Chartered Institute of Fundraising is the membership body for UK fundraising who represent and champion the work of individual fundraisers, charities, and their partners. There are various resources on their website on fundraising and particularly in the arts, heritage and cultural sector.

Sponsorship is most often a contribution of goods, in-kind services or money given by a company to a non-profit organisation to fund a specific project or event.
